daffodils

I love the daffodils in my garden right now
not many years do I have the
pleasure of enjoying them..
snow will fall and freeze them
they showed up for me last week and so far
they are fine..
tomorrow it's supposed to snow
and get cold again...
thank you for giving them to me for awhile..
a girl couldn't ask for anything more...
than a full week with the daffodils...
when she lives in colorado...

i have been playing around with poetry lately..

what i could do with that subject..
so i will keep posting them and get my inspiration
from photos i take..
just thinking to myself...

delicate as a soft babies breath
enticing our senses to soar
fresh as the morning
with each dew dropped petal
natures perfection unfolds

this simple bloom gives such joy
joy from but a glance
senses are full
soaring heart is alight
but a moment in time

wither it will with the passage of time
petals are only a gift
but rest assured
with a new days dawn
natures simple grace
